A comfortable semi detached cottage next to the owner; Rose Cottage is on the main road in the small community of Square & Compass between St Davids, with its historic Cathedral, and the bustling harbour town of Fishguard.
Renovated throughout and warmly furnished in a contemporary style; the small conservatory leads into the kitchen/diner and through to the spacious, welcoming lounge along the front which retains a traditional feel with white washed walls and original beams. Stairs lead up to the two cosy bedrooms set in the eaves with traditional wooden ceiling. The enclosed, rear and lawned garden with patio is an ideal spot to enjoy a summer’s barbecue.
Four footpaths lead across the fields to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the beautiful bays of Abercastle and Aberfelin. Abercastle is just 2 miles away and if you time it right you can buy fresh fish when the fishermen return to this picturesque harbour. Square & Compass’ garage, mini supermarket and pub/restaurant serving good food are within walking distance.

Dear Rose Cottage owners, we have had a fabulous week. The cottage was spotlessly clean with the best welcome box. We have been walking some of the coast path - amazing views. Thank you!

Hi Marion and Mervyn Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your 'cottage' You have obviously worked very hard to get it to such a high standard - one of the best and most tasteful of many we have stayed in - and we hope to return again.
We enjoyed our break in Rose Cottage, it is a lovely cottage, warm cosy and roomy too! The furnishings and decor are very pleasing. The utility room was much needed to dry off the dogs and store our walking gear! Thank you for providing wine, tea and coffee - the thoughtfulness was appreciated. Thank you for providing us with a lovely place to stay and no doubt we will come here again in the near future.
